Goshen Electrician

Electrician Serving Goshen & Elkhart County

Goshen's housing stock tells a clear story: a solid core of homes built in the 1950s through 1980s, when 100-amp service was the standard and today's electrical demands were unimaginable. Banner Electric has been helping Elkhart County homeowners bring those systems up to date for over 60 years — panel upgrades, rewiring, circuit additions, and everything in between.

Whether your Goshen home is a mid-century classic that needs a panel upgrade or a newer build that needs additional circuits, our licensed electricians arrive on time, explain what they're doing, and do the job right. We serve Goshen and nearby Elkhart, Middlebury, and New Paris.

Electrical Services Available in Goshen

• Electrical panel upgrades — Many Goshen homes from the 1950s–80s still run on 100-amp panels. We upgrade to 200-amp service safely and to code, giving your home room to grow.
• Whole-home rewiring — Old wiring that can't keep up with modern loads is a safety hazard. We rewire Goshen homes completely, from the panel to the outlets.
• Circuit additions — Need a dedicated circuit for a new appliance, home office, or workshop? We add capacity without overloading your existing system.
• Outlet & switch upgrades — GFCI outlets for kitchens and bathrooms, USB outlets, tamper-resistant receptacles, and dimmer switches installed throughout your home.
• Lighting installation — Interior, exterior, and landscape lighting for Goshen homes. We also handle recessed lighting, ceiling fans, and fixture replacements.
• Electrical inspections — Pre-purchase inspections, insurance inspections, and code compliance evaluations for homes throughout Elkhart County.
• 24/7 emergency electrical service — When something goes wrong after hours, we're available. Call (574) 936-9715 any time for urgent repairs in Goshen.
• Surge protection — Whole-home surge protection keeps your electronics, appliances, and HVAC system safe from damaging power spikes.
