What Our Customers Say
FH"I was lucky enough to get these folks out the same day that I called. I lost power to 1/4 of my house. Ray and Dex diagnosed the issue fairly quickly and had my power restored fast as well. They gave me options on the repairs and helped me understand the situation."
JA"If I could give more I would. We had an incident where we had our service pulled from the house and nearly out of our panel. Needed help ASAP. All we wanted was a place for temporary service. These guys came out within 30 to 45 mins of calling."
RE"Great — they ordered what I needed. They got it pretty quick, and a nice smooth transaction. When you're having a hard time finding something in the electrical field give these people a call, odds are they can help you in some way."
KW"Banner was obviously the correct choice to help with a remodel project in our 1960's era home. The experience of their staff paid off, and we are extremely happy with everything they did. Communicated well the entire time we worked with them. Thanks, especially to Richard W."
CK"Banner Electric's service and pricing is great! My family was in an emergency situation without power or heat on a weekend and Banner came right over from Plymouth to Warsaw at night and diagnosed the problem within twenty minutes."
DK"Banner Electric gave me an appointment date as soon as possible and actually made it out earlier than expected. They took care of the things I needed quickly and professionally and didn't mind me hanging around and asking questions."

Common Questions
Generator FAQ
How do I know what size generator I need?
It depends on what you want to power during an outage. A typical home may need 10–24 kW for whole-house coverage. Commercial needs vary widely. We perform a load calculation during our free site assessment to determine the exact size — no guessing or overselling.
How long does installation take?
Residential installations typically take 1–2 days once the equipment arrives. Commercial projects vary based on scope. From initial call to power-on, plan for 4–8 weeks, depending on permit timelines and equipment availability.
Natural gas or propane — which is better?
If you have a natural gas line, it's usually the easiest choice — unlimited fuel supply. Propane is the go-to for rural properties without gas service. We install both and can help you decide based on your situation and fuel availability.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We pull all necessary electrical permits and coordinate inspections. For commercial projects, we also handle any zoning or code coordination needed.
What's included in a maintenance plan?
Oil and filter changes, spark plug replacement, battery inspection, coolant checks (diesel units), load testing, transfer switch inspection, and firmware/software updates. We recommend annual service for residential and semi-annual for commercial.
Do generators increase home value?
Yes. Studies show a standby generator can increase home value by 3–5%. It's particularly attractive for lake homes and second properties in the area, where reliable power is a major selling point for buyers.
